BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The City of Bismarck is accepting applications from residents who would like to volunteer to be on one of its advisory boards.
The city is encouraging residents to apply to be on one of 10 advisory boards, committees, and commissions. Applicants must live in the City of Bismarck, unless they're applying for the Planning and Zoning vacancy, which must be filled by someone living in the Extraterritorial Area (ETA).
The following boards have vacancies: • Animal Advisory Board: Four current terms are ending in 2025; advises the Bismarck Police Department on companion animal policy, and promotes collaboration between people, agencies, and the city regarding this policy. • Board of Adjustment: Two terms ending this year; decides appeals from orders/requirements made
