MADISON, Wis. (KOLN) - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team went on the road in front of 7,229 at the Wisconsin Field House and picked apart the 11th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers in a 25-22, 25-19, 25-13 sweep on Friday night.

The Huskers (21-0, 11-0 Big Ten) won the first-ever Big Ten Discover Challenge, finishing with a perfect 5-0 record in select challenge matches. Purdue also went 5-0 in challenge matches, but the Huskers won the tiebreaker with a perfect 15-0 record in sets.

Nebraska extended its streak of consecutive sweeps to 12 and sets won to 37. The Huskers won all 27 sets they played in October, only allowing opponents to reach 20 points three times.

The Huskers have beaten the Badgers four times in a row for the first time since 2012-13. It’s the first time in the 39-match series
