AUSTIN, Texas — Medics with Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) executed a rescue Friday night after a car went into a ravine near Lake Austin.
According to ATCEMS, the incident happened before 9:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Westlake Dr. Three people were involved, with two being pinned in the vehicle.
ATCEMS successfully extricated the two pinned patients. They were both taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The third person involved was not taken to the hospital.
The Austin Fire Department and Westlake Fire Department were also involved in the rescue.
