ROSSFORD, Ohio — On Halloween night, while many focused on costumes and candy, some Northwest Ohio residents spent the day giving back — turning the spooky season into a time of generosity and community spirit.
Fifteen-year-old Mason Brown of Sylvania is using his love of music to make a difference. His project, “A Spooktacular Food Drive,” supports Sylvania Area Family Services by collecting donations for local families in need.
“It just makes me feel so good inside. I feel like I can make a difference, you know, just being here,” Brown said.
Brown’s parents, David and Kacie Brown, say they couldn’t be prouder of their son’s efforts.
