SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – The Marshwood High School football team played complementary football Friday night.
The defense took the ball away and the offense knew what to do with it when they got it. The result was a 43-23 win over Cheverus in the first round of the Class B South playoffs.
Defensive end/linebacker Sam Therrien was the catalyst for all that thievery with three fumble recoveries and an interception. Offensively, Greg Castoras scored five touchdowns, four rushing and one on a screen pass from quarterback Michael Sbrizza.
