LIZTON, Ind. — The Cascade Cadets stayed undefeated Friday night after holding Hendricks County rival Tri-West to just two touchdowns to advance to the Sectional 29 championship next week.
It was a relatively close opening quarter with the two teams trading possessions until late in the first until Cascade junior Luke Farmer intercepted Tri-West quarterback Jack Sorgi and then came back out on offense, where he picked up an 18-yard touchdown run to give Cascade their first touchdown of the night.
Farmer then picked up another touchdown when he caught a 19-yard pass from senior quarterback Brady Trebley.
Finally, Tri-West responded on their next possession. Junior quarterback Jack Sorgi connected with junior Jax Garver for a 52-yard passing touchdown to put the Bruins on the board.
