NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A new 24-hour crisis center in Norfolk is just days away from opening, as You Turn Residential's new 24/7 mental health crisis facility will open Nov. 3.

You Turn Residential is a mental health agency offering crisis and community stabilization services. Their mission is to deliver exceptional treatment for individuals experiencing mental health or substance abuse related crisis, something it'll be able to do with its new 8,000-square-foot building off Poplar Hall in Norfolk.

The project has been in the works for months now.

"We have our clinicians' offices where they are doing assessments," said You Turn Residential Outreach Director Jason Robinson. "We're going to be able to pour into our guests."
