CARMEL, Ind. — The Carmel Greyhounds had no issues Friday night as they advanced to the Sectional 3 championship with at 56-7 rout of Harrison.
Carmel, who had only lost once this season, looked poised to keep their season alive after forcing a quick punt on Harrison's opening drive, allowing senior running back Andrew Pemberton to break free for a 31-yard rushing touchdown just minutes into the game.
Carmel's defense then came up with a huge sack to force another Harrison punt. Pemberton got the ball on Carmel's next offensive possession and scored his second rushing touchdown of the night off a 43-yard run.
