PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The Panthers ended their regular season in dominant fashion, routing Bracken County, 42-7.
Pikeville led 7-0 when Harrison Fields picked off Greg Benedict and raced into the endzone to make it 14-0.
Fields showed his prowess on the offensive side of the ball with a rushing score. Pikeville went up 21-0 at that point.
The Panthers have scored at least 35 points in four out of their last five contests and have held their opponents to single digits in every game during their win streak.
The Panthers host Lynn Camp in the first round of the playoffs at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.
The Polar Bears welcome in West Carter for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Nov. 7 in their playoff opener.
