PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police have confirmed that two people were shot in a west Phoenix neighborhood Friday evening.

Details are extremely limited, but officers were called out to the area of 89th and Indianola avenues, just south of Indian School Road on reports of a shooting at around 5:10 p.m.

Phoenix PD spokesperson Rob Scherer confirmed that two adults were found shot and were rushed to the hospital with “serious injuries.”

Aerial video from Arizona’s Family News chopper showed an extensive police presence throughout the neighborhood, with investigators zeroing in on one particular home.
