LIZTON – Out of nowhere, as Cascade’s players, parents and coaches celebrated on the field at Tri-West on Friday night, rain started falling.
It did not last long. Just a couple minutes. But the timing was perfect. The rain fit with the release of emotions for a Cascade team that had waited 364 days to avenge a heartbreaking two-point loss to the same opponent on the same turf in the same round of the tournament.
