(FOX40.COM) -- Halloween is one of the busiest and spookiest nights of the year here in Sacramento, so FOX40 is taking you to the famous 'Fab 40's' neighborhood.

"They're always on point around here. Always," One neighbor said.

"Happy Halloween," families said.

You hear a lot of that — strutting down Sacramento's 40th through 49th streets.

Decorations, lights, candy and, of course, plenty of unique characters took over east Sacramento.

"I'm dressed as Elpheba and I'm dressed as Glinda," two 15-year-olds said.

"This is our first time dressing up as a family, so we are a group of astronauts," one local family said. "We've got our little alien that we're very excited about!"
