The Grand Junction Police Department arrested a man early Friday morning after a series of incidents in which he threatened to shoot multiple people and crashed his vehicle.
Around 2:25 a.m. on Oct. 31, police responded to a report that a man had allegedly threatened to shoot another man and his daughter before leaving in a vehicle in the 2200 block of Hall Avenue. Police located the vehicle and made a “high-risk stop” in which they arrested 21-year-old Christian Brunswick.
Brunswick, who police believed was under the influence of alcohol, had been driving with a female passenger when a verbal dispute occurred, according to a press release. The two were in a verbal dispute and Brunswick allegedly prevented her from leaving and threatened to shoot her and her family.
