The Los Angeles Lakers fans undoubtedly missed Luka Doncic during his three-game absence. The Lakers’ superstar had been sidelined with a finger injury. However, despite being listed as questionable to play, Luka made his much-anticipated return on Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA Cup opener.
With Luka’s spectacular comeback performance, the Lakers won over the Grizzlies 117-112. Throughout the night, Doncic completely took control and dominated Memphis defenders with his trademark skill and confidence.
One of the game’s most talked-about moments came in the second quarter. Luka’s quick move caused Vince Williams Jr. to lose his balance, fall, and even come out of one of his shoes.
Doncic finished the night with 44 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and six three-pointers.
