The opening round of the OHSAA football playoffs wrapped up Friday night for Stark County-area high school teams .

Green pulled off a road upset. Malvern dominated at home, as did Manchester. Louisville lost a heartbreaker.

Tyson Hunka leads Green football to OHSAA playoff upset

GARFIELD HEIGHTS — Tyson Hunka threw three touchdown passes — two of them to Evan Reed — as Green pulled off the No. 11-vs.-No. 6 upset Friday night.

Hunka completed 14 of 20 passes for 186 yards, the three scores and no interceptions as Green (6-5) won its fifth straight game after a 1-5 start to the season. Hunka added 38 yards on 14 carries.
