The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has intensified its violent activities in Canada, just days after India and Canada announced plans to strengthen cooperation against transnational crime. Despite being designated a terrorist organisation by Ottawa, the gang's operations in Canada are spreading. In the last week, the gang has claimed responsibility for shootings at two locations in Canada , one of which left an Indian-origin businessman dead. The gang also opened fire outside the Surrey home of Punjabi singer Chani Nattan , and even posted a video of the attack.
