This December, Plymouth is set to host two exciting dog events as part of the Pup Up Café Christmas Tour 2025. The nationwide celebration promises a festive day out for dogs and their owners, featuring puppuccinos and plenty of photo opportunities.

On Saturday, December 6, the Dashing Dachshund and Jingle Paws Christmas tour events will take place at the Capital DC Tiki Bar and Lounge. The Dachshund sessions will run from 10am to 1.30pm, followed by the All Paws sessions from 2pm to 3.30pm. Each session is designed to be filled with festive cheer, offering a free Christmas present for every dog, themed décor, and unlimited puppuccinos with toppings.

Attendees can also enjoy treats, ball pits, toys, and tunnels for energetic play. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed dogs, and local dog businesses will be present for all Christmas shopping needs.

Founded in 2018, Pup Up Café has become a viral sensation across the UK, hosting breed-specific and open events that foster community among dog owners. Last year’s Christmas Tour attracted over 2,000 dogs, showcasing the popularity of these gatherings.

Marcus Ackford, the Founder of Pup Up Café, expressed his excitement about returning to Plymouth. He stated, "We’re so excited to be bringing the Christmas Pup Up Café back to Plymouth - it’s been far too long! We’re based just up the road in Exeter and, as a Navy family, Plymouth has always felt close to home for us. The city always had such a great turnout and atmosphere at our events, so we can’t wait to see everyone (and their pups!) getting festive again this year."

Ackford added, "Whether it’s the Dachshund sessions or the All Paws ones, there’s nothing quite like seeing a room full of dogs in Christmas jumpers enjoying puppuccinos together, it’s pure joy. Christmas is our favourite time of year - the outfits, the community, and all the friendly dogs in one room make for the perfect festive mix. The energy is unreal and it’s impossible to leave without smiling, we love what we do every week."

Now in its eighth year, Pup Up Café has welcomed over 50,000 dogs across the UK, from tiny teacup pups to giant gentle giants. The Christmas Tour remains a highlight of the calendar, promising a joyful celebration for all dog lovers in the area.
