TORONTO — Toronto’s offense exploded in the second quarter and the Red Knights did not look back, rolling to a 41-0 victory over Columbus Grandview Heights in the opening round of the playoffs on Friday night at home.

Toronto, now 10-1 and the No. 6 seed in the Division VI, Region 23 bracket, advances to visit No. 3 West Jefferson (9-1) next Friday in the second round. Grandview Heights closes out at 7-4.

After a scoreless opening quarter, the Red Knights scored 28 in the second quarter to take a big lead into the locker room, pulling away further in the second half to enact the running clock.

Senior QB Michael Henry had a big night in his last game at Clarke Hinkle Stadium, completing 20 of 24 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran nine times for 36 more yards.
