More than 100 teenagers blocked traffic and let off fireworks in Cambridge on Friday (October 31). A dispersal order has now been granted for the city, giving police the power to move anyone they believe to be behaving anti-socially away from an area.

The order is in position until 9pm on Sunday (November 2). A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson explained: "A dispersal order has been granted for Cambridge City this weekend after anti-social behaviour involving fireworks.

"The order was authorised after six calls this evening about fireworks being let off across the city. The calls culminated in approximately 100 teenagers letting off fireworks and blocking traffic on Hills Avenue.
