BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. ((NEWS10) -- The Ballston Spa football team picked the right time to find its groove on offense.
The Class A playoffs got underway Friday night, and the Scotties opened up their postseason journey by erupting for a season-high 51 points in a 51-12 route of Amsterdam. Quarterback Chris Duclos threw for four touchdowns and running back Ethan Nazarian was responsible for three scores in the victory.
It took just two quarters for Ballston Spa to surpass its previous season high point total of 27. The Scotties went to halftime leading 29-6 after three touchdowns in the second stanza.
