New Delhi: New Zealand produced a clinical effort to register a 3-0 ODI series whitewash over England after winning the third and final game on Saturday. The Kiwis registered a two-wicket victory to register only their second whitewash over the England side in history after a huge gap of 42 years.

The last time the Kiwis had whitewashed the English side in a 50-over series was way back in 1983. Chasing a score of 223 runs in the 3rd ODI at Wellington, England almost denied the Kiwis a series whitewash by picking up their 8 wickets but the New Zealand team (226/8) kept their nerves tight till the end to get to a victory in the end.
