Missouri Dog Found Chained In A Backyard Finally Learns What Love Feels Like

Thankfully, the dedicated team at Stray Rescue of St. Louis (SRSL) is always on the lookout for animals in need. They spend their days combing through neighborhoods, determined to find and save dogs who have been neglected or abandoned.

During one of their searches, the team came across an old, abandoned home. What they found behind it left them heartbroken: a lonely dog chained in the backyard, desperate for help.

Trapped And Forgotten

When rescuers from SRSL arrived at the property, they discovered a small dog tethered to a heavy chain beside a doghouse. He had almost no food or water and appeared exhausted, lying motionless on the grass.
