In the year 2025, I find it very discouraging, to say the least, that in the wealthiest country in the world , a very large percentage of Americans need aid to survive. Not only that, but this aid is disappearing for women, children and families who need it most. Please do not punish us just because you cannot agree. We are not your pawns to use as leverage. Have a human heart.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) feed a huge percentage of the working class, along with other integral citizens like farmers. However they are funded, people need to continue getting these services during government shutdowns. This is money for the people, by the people. It is unconstitutional to take it
