Bhubaneswar : An 11-foot python was rescued late Friday night by the Snake Help Line near Sai Baba Temple at Nuagaon in Berhampur. The snake was later handed over to the forest department.

According to reports, family members of Promod Behera spotted the massive python near their house in Om Vihar at Nuagaon, around 10 pm on Friday. They immediately contacted the Snake Help Line for assistance.

Local team member Trilochan Nayak reached the spot and safely rescued the python using specialized techniques. The snake measured approximately 11 feet in length.

In the presence of Forest officials Somanath Mallik and Ashwini Nayak, the python was released into a protected forest area. Tags: Berhampur Massive Python Rescued Odisha
