GARNERVILLE – Haverstraw Police have arrested a Garnerville man and charged him with the felony of reckless endangerment.
At about 6:20 p.m. on October 30, police received reports of shots fired in the area of the Mobil Gas Station on Route 202 in Garnerville.
Officers located Capernicus Yodweyone, 28, in the parking lot of the Foremost Shopping Center standing next to a vehicle and a shotgun.
Police said the investigation revealed Yodweyone was standing outside his vehicle when he fired several rounds from a shotgun directly into the unoccupied vehicle.
He was taken into custody and the weapon was recovered.
