INDIANAPOLIS — A person is hospitalized after a shooting in downtown Indianapolis early Saturday morning.

According to IMPD, just after 3 a.m. Nov. 1, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the area of East Georgia Street and South Meridian Street .

When officers arrived, they said they found a person shot. IMPD said the victim was "awake and breathing."
