Cortland County was No. 6 statewide during that period, with a cancer rate of 537 cases per 100,000 people.
Onondaga County was 29th statewide for the 2018-2022 period. The county cancer rate in that time was 502.9 cases per 100,000 people.
The state average during the period was 466.8.
Cayuga, Madison and Oneida counties also had cancer rates that were higher that the state average from 2018 to 2022.
