ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Bills quarterback Josh Allen will wear another custom-designed New Era cap — this one by 7-year-old Carson — before Sunday's Week 9 matchup, helping Oishei Children’s Hospital raise money for its pediatric care.
Carson was rushed to Oishei Children's Hospital after complications from a high fever led to cardiac arrest, septic shock, and multiple strokes, leaving him unable to walk, according to New Era officials.
With determination and extensive physical therapy, Carson regained his strength and eventually walked out of the hospital on his own. Soon after, Carson took part in his school’s Fun Run.
Carson's New Era cap features gold front panels, hearts, and bright colors that reflect his creativity. At the start of Sunday's game, the cap Allen wears to Highmark Stad
