New Delhi, Nov 1: India’s latest monthly fuel price revision, effective from November 1, has brought a mixed outcome — with aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices witnessing a marginal rise of nearly 1%, while commercial LPG cylinder rates have been reduced by up to Rs 6.50 across major metro cities.
According to the latest data released by state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs), the retail price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at Rs 1,590.50, down by Rs 5 from the previous rate of Rs 1,595.50. The reduction follows the Rs 15.50 hike implemented in September.
Among the metros, Kolkata saw the highest price cut of Rs 6.50 per cylinder, while Mumbai and Chennai recorded reductions of Rs 5 and Rs 4.50 respectively.
