It was a "Shark Tank"-like proposal that helped a local nonprofit present get help for Oklahomans experiencing "transportation poverty."
Upward Transitions gained the attention — and the funding — from the tv show-like panel for the United Way of Central Oklahoma's WayFinder Innovation Grant, and the nonprofit's plans to lease e-bikes — electric, battery-powered bikes — to clients in need of temporary transportation moved forward.
