CHICO — Chico State is set to host a new interfaith lecture series Tuesday — free and open to the public — aimed at building common ground and understanding.

The series as a whole is titled “Interreligious Reflections in Northern California,” kicking off with “Jewish and Hindu reflections.”

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed and Jewish leader Lisa Rappaport will both speak on their respective religions. Veidlinger, who is an expert in Hinduism, and religion professor Jed Wyrick, who is an expert on Judaism, will speak alongside the representatives.
