(WTAJ) — UPMC confirmed Medicare beneficiaries in 12 Central Pennsylvania Counties are losing their coverage based only on where they live.

UPMC for Life members living in Adams, Centre, Clinton, Elk, Forest, Fulton, Jefferson, Juniata, Mifflin, Snyder, Sullivan, and Tioga counties may have already received a letter informing them that their Medicare coverage through UPMC would end Dec. 31.

The following plans are part of this service cut: • UPMC for Life HMO Premier Rx (HMO) • UPMC for Life HMO Deductible Rx (HMO) • UPMC for Life HMO Rx Choice (HMO) • UPMC for Life HMO Rx (HMO) • UPMC for Life HMO Rx Enhanced (HMO) • UPMC for Life PPO Essential Care Rx (PPO) • UPMC for Life PPO Premier Rx (PPO) • UPMC for Life PPO High Deductible Rx (PPO) • UPMC for Life PPO Rx Choice
