A Darby man who pled guilty in September to stabbing a SEPTA bus driver in Yeadon last year was sentenced Friday to 3 to 6 years in a state prison.
Terrence McKinney, 46, previously entered an open guilty plea to one count of aggravated assault for the attack. Additional charges including attempted murder, reckless endangerment and possession of a weapon were dismissed.
Assistant District Attorney Jerry Rassias told Common Pleas Court Judge G. Michael Green that this was an incredibly serious case in which the driver was assaulted apparently without provocation on the afternoon of July 6, 2024.
