NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a quadruple shooting in New Haven early this morning.

This incident happened at the corner of Church and Center Street, four people were shot and one of them died, the police department said.

Based on what they’ve seen on video evidence, they think two people started firing at each other outside of the Dunkin’.

Unfortunately, they say it looks like all the victims, including the person who died, were not involved in the altercation and were caught in the crossfire.

Officials said two men were shot and two women were shot and one of those women died due to the extent of injuries.
