JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two men are recovering after being shot in separate domestic incidents in Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced early Saturday.

The first shooting happened around 10 p.m. on Halloween Friday, while the other happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Halloween shooting

Around 10 p.m., JSO's Sergeant Mitlyng said officers responded to the 8500 block of Jasper Avenue in reference to the shooting. When they arrived, Richardson said a man in his 30s was found suffering from a single gunshot wound.

The man was then taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Mitlyng.
