ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla (WKRG) – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a Pensacola man dead early Saturday morning in Escambia County, according to troopers.

State troopers say this crash happened Saturday morning, around 2:47 a.m. on I-10/State Road near mile marker 14.

They say a 20-year-old man was driving an SUV east on I-10 when he left the road and hit the wall. Escambia County EMS pronounced him dead.

Officials didn’t release the victim's identity, and they are still investigating the cause of the crash.

No other vehicle was involved in the incident.
