Ahead of the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major political boost as hundreds of families from Jhabal Pukhta and Adda Chabal announced their decision to join the party. Cabinet Minister Barinder Goyal formally inducted all these families into AAP. The joining ceremony was held under the leadership of Sarpanch Monu Cheema, MLA from Payal Manwinder Singh Giaspura, and Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana.
