Ayanna Harrison started her job as executive director of support operations for the Alexandria district in July 2024. It was a full-time job, meant to oversee day-to-day operations of safety and security, nutrition and transportation services.

In July, Harrison started another job as chief operations officer at Kindezi Schools, a charter district in Atlanta.

Harrison’s employment at both districts ended Wednesday after the Alexandria Times published an article with details of both her roles.

Harrison declined to comment.
