If you thought the rise of the Vande Bharat Express was slowing down, think again. The Indian Railways has just approved four new Vande Bharat trains that will add major routes across several states. With this move the total number of Vande Bharat services will rise to 164.

New Routes and What They Cover

Here are the newly notified services:

Bengaluru (KSR) - Ernakulam – strengthening connectivity between Karnataka and Kerala.

Firozpur Cantt - Delhi – Punjab to the national capital.

Varanasi - Khajuraho – enhancing links between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

Lucknow - Saharanpur – boosting connectivity within Uttar Pradesh and into the north-west.

A senior railway official told Indian Express: “Four new Vande Bharat trains have been notified.”
