A casual visit from Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan to Mumbai’s Film City this week set social media buzzing with speculation. Photos shared by filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia showing Bachchan on the sets of Battle of Galwan instantly led many to believe that the megastar might be making a cameo in the upcoming Salman Khan-starrer.

Lakhia had posted a few behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram Stories, captioned, “Guess what he is telling me? #legendonsetstoday." The cryptic tone of the caption only added fuel to the frenzy, with fans and gossip pages alike wondering if the Sholay icon had joined the cast.
