A police officer's dash camera captured a green-cosmic sighting in the sky in Neenah, Wisconsin near Green Bay.
A driver in McHenry told ABC7 he also captured what's believed to be that same meteorite on camera.
He told ABC7 he was driving northbound when all of a sudden, he saw a large flash of light in the sky.
The Orionid meteor shower, which has been active since early October, reached its full force last week.
Meteor showers occur when debris from comets, asteroids or other space rocks burn up upon entry into earth's atmosphere, creating a collection of "shooting star" visuals across the night sky.
