BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is dead and another is hurt after an overnight shooting in downtown Buffalo Saturday, according to a city spokesperson.
Buffalo Police say it happened around 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the area of West Chippewa and Pearl Streets.
One male victim was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot in the head. A second male victim was taken to the Erie County Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition, according to police.
Buffalo Police say detectives recovered two guns under vehicles in a nearby parking lot along with multiple shell casings from the scene.
Buffalo Police say the incident appears to be targeted. The investigation is ongoing.
