Election Day is Tuesday, and time is running out for Clark County voters to return their ballots.
Although mailing ballots is an option, they must be postmarked by Tuesday. Given U.S. Postal Services delays, the Washington secretary of state urges voters not to mail them this close to the election . Voters can deposit ballots until 8 p.m. Tuesday in one of 22 official drop boxes located throughout Clark County, or hand-deliver them to the elections office at 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver.
Voters who have not yet received a ballot in the mail should contact the county’s elections office by calling 564-397-2345 or emailing [email protected] . Voters also can request replacement ballots online at VoteWa.gov .
The county’s election office will release preliminary results at 8:30 p.m.
