BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two people are hurt after an early morning shooting Saturday on Buffalo's East Side, according to a city spokesperson.

Buffalo Police say it happened just after 3 a.m. on Lathrop Street near Broadway following a fight in the area.

According to police, two people were shot and taken to the Erie County Medical Center. One of the victims is in critical condition the other is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
