ANNA, Ohio (WDTN) -- A man was reportedly electrocuted in Shelby County. Police reports said the man lost his right hand.

According to dispatchers for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, dispatchers received a call at 10:07 a.m. Friday to respond to the 15000 block of Meranda Road in Anna.

Officials confirmed a man was trimming trees in a bucket truck when the man is said to have gotten into the lines and was reportedly electrocuted.

"It was very bad, and he is very lucky to still be breathing," said Sheriff James Frye.

The man reportedly suffered several exit wounds from the electricity and is said to have been injured. His condition is unknown at this time.
