A man is dead after a fatal crash on Interstate 4 in Orange County early Saturday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
At approximately 3:06 a.m., a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, driven by the unidentified man, was traveling east on I-4 approaching World Center Drive, FHP said. A 2015 Kia Sedona, driven by a 69-year-old man from Ocoee, was traveling eastbound in the inside lane.
The unidentified man lost control of the Hyundai and ran off the roadway left onto the median, FHP said. As a result, the vehicle struck the guardrail and traveled back into the eastbound travel lanes in the direct path of the Kia and struck the vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead on scene, FHP said. The Ocoee man was transported to Dr. Phillips Hospital with minor injures.
This crash remains under investigation
