CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The nationwide FAA air traffic controller shortage impacted Charlotte Friday night.
Official documentation from the FAA showed Charlotte as among the nation's air spaces operating with limited staffing.
As the federal government shutdown continues into a second month, many federal employees, including air traffic controllers, are working without pay.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has been warning that travelers will start to see more flight disruptions the longer controllers go without a paycheck.
