On Wednesday, legendary musician Paul McCartney played a triumphant concert at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Sometime during this mini British invasion, the 83-year-old former Beatle found time to do some sightseeing, including a visit to St. Charles Avenue, where he beheld Louellen Berger’s over-the-top Halloween display.

“Hi,” said McCartney in a video posted to Threads and Instagram , “we were just in New Orleans where we had a great show. And while we were in the Garden District, we saw this spooky display.”

As McCartney’s camera panned the skeletons, his absurdist tune “Monkberry Moon Delight” played in the background: “So I sat in the attic, a piano up my nose and the wind played a dreadful cantata…”
