Chandigarh, November 1 – The 60th Foundation Day of Haryana was celebrated today with great enthusiasm and joy at the Haryana Raj Bhavan. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, his wife Smt. Mitra Ghosh, and Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. Union Minister Sh. Manohar Lal was also present on the occasion. The Governor announced a grant of Rs 6 lakh for the artists who participated in the event.

The atmosphere turned spiritually uplifting with the presentation of a devotional song by Dr. Monika, a national award-winning artist.
