SRINAGAR : City Judge Srinagar, Abdul Bari, has convicted former Managing Director of JK Cooperative Central Land Development Limited, Mohammad Shafi Banday, for manipulating his date of birth to unlawfully extend his service tenure. According to officials, the case originated from a communication received by the Crime Branch Kashmir and Railways on October 15, 2012, alleging that Banday had fraudulently shown his date of birth as September 1, 1939, instead of 1934 by producing a fake certificate.
